Become a Key Player as a Silicone Extrusion Operator You will operate and set up silicone extrusion equipment to produce conforming hose products and support production throughput. You will work onsite on a first shift schedule (7:30 AM3:30 PM, MondayFriday) with mandatory overtime as needed, reporting to the Value Stream Team Leader and collaborating with maintenance and inspection teams. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Review the production schedule and plan daily job duties to meet requirements Mill silicone, prep hose, and set up extruders for vertical and horizontal wraps per specifications Cut and send test samples to the lab and measure OD and wall thickness for quality verification Record traceability and conformance data and provide reeled products to inspection Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area and follow safety and quality guidelines Monitor machine sounds and troubleshoot issues; report production problems to the Direct Lead Perform work of equal or lower classification and provide support for continuous operations Be available for mandatory overtime and flexible scheduling as production requires Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role High School Diploma or GED Preferably one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing facility Basic computer skills and ability to use hand tools Mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail Good math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain continuous mental, visual, and audio attention and physical stamina for extended standing and manual tasks Must pass pre-employment screening Here's What Else Might Help You Out Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices Prior experience monitoring and adjusting extrusion equipment Pay Range $17.60 - $22.00/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
